Day 3: Honoring Our Heros

After a full night's rest, the students were ready to face another day of excitement. On Tuesday, the students visited the White House, the World War II Memorial, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial, Arlington Cemetery, The Marine Corps Memorial, and the Air Force Memorial. It was a great experience to be able to honor the heroes who have made sacrifices for the advancement of our country.

 The students also had the opportunity to visit the White House to see protests in action and take a photo in front of the White House!

 After visiting the White House and the Marine Corps, the students took time to honor heroes at Arlington Cemetery.

It was another fun-packed full day. We all were settled in our rooms to prepare for an early wake up and a journey to Philadelphia!
