Day 1: We're off to Washington, D.C.!

On Sunday morning, forty-five students and four teachers boarded a plane and journeyed to the nation's capital for a week of experiencing History Alive!  Once we arrived, we all traveled to the Holocaust Museum for a day of remembrance.  What a day of kindness, care, and support as the students learned more and discussed the various exhibits! One student stated..."If we don't learn from this history, people could repeat this history."

After traveling through the museum, we took advantage of the beautiful weather and completed a 3-2-1 Reflection and were off to meet other students from Arizona, Alaska, California and Texas.  What a wonderful atmosphere!

After being introduced to the other students who are participating in the Close-Up program this week, Corbett Prep students were settled in their rooms and ready for another amazing day!
